A power point presentation for use when teaching children the time. This one shows o’clock, but can be altered by turning the clock hands for any times you want. The question and answer is animated and these appear on a click of the key or use of a switch: ‘Can you tell me the time please?’ ‘It’s three o’clock’. This resource has a nature theme and is great to show on the Smart Board for children learning to count to 12. There are two pictures on each slide but you can alter these around if you prefer. The images are lovely as they have a fabric feel to them and could stimulate collage work or sewing with felt or materials. A cross curricular resource for children linked to the story -Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs. The resource includes counting writing and drawing as well as emotions/feelings. Sheets: 1- Children cut out the cards and count and order the colour dwarfs from 1 to 7. 2 - Shows the colour dwarfs and their names. Children can write the names underneath or write a word or phrase to describe them. 3 - Shows black and white dwarfs for children to write the names underneath and colour. They then draw their favourite dwarf and say why it is their favourite. 4 -Shows cards with the names of the dwarfs. Chidren can draw the dwarfs, cut and paste from a previous sheet or write about them with a word or phrase. Have fun with your children this Easter or Spring with this Scavenger Hunt game. The idea is to place your colour posters around the outside area / playground or school for children to locate.
